"End of the World"

“Don’t they know, it’s the end of the world, ‘cause you don’t love me anym-” He stopped singing when he saw me standing in the doorway.

“-more. Hello beautiful.” He came up and kissed my cheek, starting to strum his ukulele again.

“Why do the birds going on singing?” He was smiling at me now.

“Why do the stars glow above?” I couldn’t help but smile back at him. He was practically serenading me.

“Don’t they know, it’s the end of the world? It ended when I lost your love.” He paused.

“You’ll never lose my love,” I told him as I started walking towards him.

“I better not,” he replied, walking towards me as well.

“I wake up in the morning and I wonder, why everything’s the same as it was.” He kept walking towards me.

“I can’t understand, no I can’t understand, how life goes on the way it does.” His smile was unbearable.
His voice was so….so……sexy. It gave me shivers.

“Why does my heart, going on beating?” He was almost close enough to touch now.

“Why, do these eyes of mine, cry?” His singing was slowing down. He was only inches away now.

“Don’t they know, it’s the end of the world?” His face was so close I could feel him breathing.

“It ended, when you said,” He exhaled deeply

He stopped playing. We just stood there, nose to nose. The only sound was our breathing. He didn’t

look playful and happy anymore. He was serious now.

“Don’t ever say goodbye to me,” he whispered.

I grabbed his jacket and pulled him closer.

“I could never say goodbye to you,” I replied in the same hushed voice.

He put his ukulele on the table next to us and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into him. He kissed me with so much passion, my knees started to give out, but his arms supported me. My arms wrapped around his neck and my hands played with his hair.

“Good,” he said, breaking the kiss. “Because that would be the end of the world.”

“Well, I couldn’t do that, now could I?” I smirked and pulled him into a kiss again.

His hands had been resting on my lower back, but they slowly started to move up my back, till they reached my hair. He played with my hair, sending shivers down my spine. He backed me up against the wall and his hands went to my hips. He played with the hem of my shirt as I moved to take his jacket off. He picked me up bridal style and started walking towards the stairs. He broke the kiss to see where he was going. I rested my head on his shoulder, and he started stinging softly,

“Don’t they know, it’s the end of the world?”
